Begegnungen - 10 Jahre Weltreise

In the organizer's words:

Paul Lübbe from Wismar and Norwegian Linn Charlotte Klund have been sailing the world's oceans for ten years now. In "Encounters - 10 years of sailing around the world", they talk about the people they have met on their travels, who have surprised them, inspired them or helped them out of an emergency:

"Above all, we want to inspire hope with our presentations. On our travels, we have of course witnessed both the immense piles of garbage in our oceans and clear evidence of climate change. We have visited around 50 different countries in the last 10 years, many of which (such as El Salvador, Papua New Guinea or Colombia) are generally considered dangerous. Above all, however, we want to tell the story of people all over the world who are confronting climate change not by blaming industrialized nations but by actively seeking solutions, and of all the people who meet us as strangers and foreigners with curiosity, hospitality and a broad smile."

With breathtaking images and video footage, the two world travelers take us on a 100-minute sailing adventure shortly before they set off again for Indonesia.
