Just in time for International Children's Day on June 1, our new children's exhibition "Into the Painting! A journey through time for children" and we would like to celebrate this with you. Slip into a painting from earlier times and embark on an exciting journey of discovery. Numerous interactive stations allow you to experience history in a playful way. The exhibition is designed to be inclusive and is largely barrier-free. Interactive and multi-sensory interventions appeal to all the senses and can be explored by touching, hearing or seeing. On the next day, Museum Sunday, the doors will be open from 10 am.
There will also be a colorful program of games and creative activities throughout the museum. Make your own buttons, stamp, draw and do handicrafts - and with a bit of luck you could win great prizes by spinning our wheel of fortune.
And best of all: the exhibitions "Roads not Taken" and "Wolf Biermann" are also open to everyone free of charge and have something for children to do.
