In 1896, German-speaking Jews in Prague founded the first soccer club in Bohemia. The German Football Club Prague reached the final of the German Football Championship in 1903. After the invasion of German troops in March 1939, the club was forced to disband. Many players and officials did not survive the Nazi terror.
It was not until 2016 that DFC Prague was refounded and has since been dedicated primarily to youth soccer.
The documentary was created as part of a project by the National Assembly of German Clubs in the Czech Republic and tells the story of the club's past and present.
