For the closing there is probably the biggest spectacle our festival has seen in 10 years.

La femme

Tatiana and Sur la planche are songs that many people think of first when they think of La Femme. But the French neo-psych ensemble, founded in 2010 by keyboardist Marlon Magnée and guitarist Sacha Got, has much more to offer.

La Femme is now one of the greats of the French music scene. The band has already been awarded several gold records and won the prestigious "Victoires de la Musique" award - the French equivalent of the Grammy Awards. During their last world tour, they played over 140 largely sold-out dates in more than 25 countries.

Two new albums have been released in the last two years. In Teatro Lucido, released in 2022, they experiment with Spanish lyrics. Part of this album is the hit Sacatela. In their latest album Paris-Hawaii from 2023, the band now presents Hawaiian love songs. The sound is characterized by new wave, rock, electro and punk influences, among others. It is often described as a mix of The Velvet Underground and Kraftwerk.

Sam Quealy

"the techno-pop princess who conquers Paris" is as multifaceted as few others - she is a songwriter, sings, dances, raps and performs! As a teenager, she left Australia and traveled the world as a professional dancer, working from Hong Kong to America and the Philippines, finally settling in Paris, where she met her producer and companion Marlon Magnee. Sam Quealy is active in the legendary "Commes des garcons" and is always at the center of Parisian nightlife; she can be found at the Paris Fashion Week shows or curating her own art exhibitions. There is hardly any terrain that this artist has not yet explored, and after just a few months of wildly erotic, cross-genre releases & shows, Sam is only just scratching the surface of what is to come. When Sam takes to the stage with her dancers, you're in for a show unlike anything you've ever seen or experienced and definitely not to be missed!

Hiqpy

What if Kurt Cobain and Ariana Grande had a Pokémon? Then you'd get something like a Hiqpy: a creature that comes to life within the bloody walls of a house party in Amsterdam, sometimes wanting to spit flames of echoing adlibs and fuzzy guitars. The band of four have yet to release any music, but have won many hearts live with their moody indie pop. The European feuilleton already agrees that 2024 will be the year of Hiqpy. First show in Germany and live an absolute hit. You can then brag in a few years that you've already seen the band ;)
