Picnic and live music in Dreieichpark

A relaxed picnic atmosphere meets danceable music between soul, funk, hip-hop, R'n'B, house, Afrobeats and Latin on Sunday, May 19 from 2 to 6 p.m., when the first Offenbach spa concert with a micro-festival atmosphere kicks off the season in Dreiechpark. Dancing, picnicking, meeting friends or simply listening to the music - the tradition of spa concerts in perhaps Offenbach's most beautiful park will be brought into the here and now around the music pavilion built in 1879.

The music comes from Frankfurt's Riverside Collective, which supports artists such as Nika, Nasir the Artist and the Riverside Choir under the direction of Florian Brettschneider and ffm.joe. Alternating with this, there will be DJ sets by Jenni Yo (GG VYBE) and Ecuador Indio. Thanks to a varied children's program with clay modelling and handicrafts by Monika Geselle, the little guests will never be bored.

If you don't want to bring your own picnic, you can get drinks and snacks on site.

The young artists' collective has been enlivening Frankfurt's music and event scene since 2022. Its activities create an urban meeting place and an atmosphere with international flair.

"Our aim is to connect people through music, and Frankfurt offers a unique platform for this," explains Ecuador Indio from the collective. "Whether businesswoman or creative, young or old - everyone is welcome at Riverside."

At Riverside Session, creativity, experience, curiosity, intuition and the courage to try something new come together. This approach has led to collaboration with exciting and established partners such as Elaines World, the Städel Museum, Random Circles and the Offenbach Office for Cultural Management. Ecuador Indio, Florian Brettschneider and FFM.JOE lead the team with over 10 years of experience in the music and event industry.

Artists from all over Germany bring their musical influences from jazz, hip-hop, funk, soul, house, R'n'B, Latin & African music with live musicians and DJs to the Riverside events. Other art forms such as painting, graphic design and dance also find space at Riverside.
