We love wrestling! That's been our credo since 2000. Our story began in dark, stuffy discotheques in the Ruhr area. Today, wXw is the market leader in Germany. wXw has organized over 1,000 events in Germany, Belgium, France, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, the USA, Canada and Japan.

In many halls, wXw has been a regular guest for up to fifteen years. The Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, the Batschkapp in Frankfurt, the Markthalle in Hamburg and the Stromwerk in Dresden have developed into wrestling metropolises that are inextricably linked with wXw internationally.

wXw 16 Carat Gold 2020 broke all audience records for independent wrestling in Germany right before the pandemic. Each of the three days was the biggest such event in Germany for well over 20 years. Over 4,000 fans flocked to the halls that weekend.

In winter 2021/22, the Batschkapp, the Turbinenhalle and the Markthalle were once again completely sold out before the day of the event. Pro wrestling in Germany is alive and well. And wXw is rightly regarded as an outstanding talent factory. World stars such as Cesaro, Aleister Black, Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser took their first steps in the wXw ring. Like Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Sami Zayn, they are all former wXw champions. Even after their WWE careers, German wrestlers like Axel Tischer and Metehan naturally return to wXw.

Fans can watch wXw events not only live in the arena, but also online. Since 2016, wXwNOW has been the first and only German wrestling video portal in a Netflix-like subscription format. In addition, 35 million subscribers to the WWE Network and NBC Peacock worldwide have access to wXw events. In December 2022, wXw 22nd Anniversary was broadcast live via Bild+.

wXw lays the foundations for success in its in-house wrestling school, the wXw Wrestling Academy. Here, wrestlers are trained from the ground up and wrestlers who have learned their basics elsewhere take the next step in their careers here. In summer 2022, the wXw Wrestling Academy moved from Essen to Gelsenkirchen and now offers a fully equipped performance center including its own gym, which is open 365 days a year. In recent years, the wXw Wrestling Academy has had trainees from over 35 nations who have come to Germany for this purpose. Numerous top names from today's WWE roster and the world's leading independent promotions are former wXw Wrestling Academy trainees.
