Berlin-born and Birmingham-raised, Louis Ottley began crafting his musical identity within the Berlin underground, experimenting with hip-hop, metal, and rock under the pseudonyms Saethora and Lil Saeth in 2016. By 2019, he released Trials and Tribulations, an album capturing the raw essence of his teenage struggles, solidifying his presence in the underground scene. In 2018, Louis relocated to Hamburg, balancing his work as a Barista with his passion for music. His sound continued to evolve, and in 2021, he met David-Elias Ehoulan, lead singer of schorl3. Always pushing boundaries, Louis found the German music scene limiting and sought fresh inspiration. Teaming up with David-Elias, they immersed themselves in British punk influences. In just one month, they crafted over 15 demos, laying the foundation for the Louis Ottley Project. Their debut single, set for release on November 1, 2024, promises a bold, innovative sound that will shake up today’s punk landscape. With a clear vision, relentless work ethic, and a fresh take on punk energy, Louis Ottley is set to captivate audiences and the music industry alike.
