My name is Laura Solar. I am an artist, theater educator, and performance artist living in Bremen (GER). My ceramic art is inspired by pre-Columbian techniques and themes related to women's health and personal biography. It is very important to me to celebrate this ancient art form and to honor traditional techniques, especially in today's world. Additionally, themes such as health, identity, and sensitive research through ceramic art are particularly close to my heart. With my heart in my hand, I shape the clay and let it speak and resonate for me. In the process, I continue to discover more about what defines me as a person. I enjoy combining my disciplines in my projects, creating unique and interdisciplinary works that reflect my diverse interests and skills. I hope for more beautiful projects and interactions where I can share this kind of work and inspire more people to express themselves artistically.
