Sarah Reema Müller-Westernhagen was born in London near Shepherds Bush and is the daughter of actress Polly Eltes and musician Marius Müller-Westernhagen. Reema grew up with her mother, where she came into contact with musicians and creatives such as Carol McNicoll, Brian Eno, Michael Karoli, Keira Knightley and Jah Wobble at an early age. Influenced by this environment, she began writing and performing music herself at the age of 7. At 17, she founded the post-punk band Battlekat together with friends. With her band “Mimi and the Mad Noise Factory”, she released two albums on a major label between 2011 and 2014 and was based in Hamburg and Berlin during this time.
She now lives in England again and the Reema project is a musical return to her origins. Writing and performing highly emotional and poetic songs that deal honestly and unfiltered with the experiences of a life and career path that has been anything but straightforward.
Reema releases her first record at the full analogue label "LowSwing Records" at 2017 (The LowSwing Sessions LOSW002) and 3 years Later her 2nd album on this boutique label named "Memories fade to tape"
on April 4tht her next album will be released on LowSwing Recprds called "One for sorrow, Two for Joy"
