Using elements from radically different trends and genres, TAZ CHERNILL create avant-garde “pop artworks,” weaving fashion and design into their music. Meticulously crafted electronic sounds born from long nighttime experiments, feverish lyrics, and heartbreaking vocals unfold through beautiful melodies that you will soon find yourself missing.

Taya and Roman met while studying together. Since moving to Germany, the musicians have been actively working on their own music while exploring various ensembles and genres. TAZ CHERNILL have already released two EPs, AMORFIN (2018) and NIMFAMOR (2018), on Ivan Dorn’s label Masterskaya in Ukraine. In 2020, they released their album “Apoklipsis”, followed in August 2022 by their second album, “DE.AD”, produced exclusively with electronic sounds and self-made sound design. TAZ CHERNILL perform actively in Germany and have appeared at international festivals including Acht Brücken, c/o pop, Cologne Jazzweek, Klaeng and Asphalt.

Since 2025, the band have retreated into their home studio, immersed themselves in their inner world, and been working intensively on a new English-language album, sparks of which can already be heard in their new live set.
