Riccardo Vaccaro works as a presenter, reporter and science journalist for ARD.
He presents "Quarks", ARD's largest science program. He also co-developed Quarks' TikTok channel and has produced around 500 videos to date. He communicates complex scientific content in an understandable, humorous and approachable way. He reaches hundreds of thousands to millions of viewers.

Riccardo can be heard regularly on the radio in the afternoon program "WDR 5 Quarks - Wissenschaft und mehr" and in the podcast "Quarks Daily", where he explains psychological topics. He is also a reporter for a very young target group on "Die Sendung mit der Maus zum Hören", where he uses his creativity to explain complex everyday scientific issues in a way that is suitable for children.

He has also acted as an on-air reporter for the ARD/ZDF media library format "Der Fall".

His book "Meine Angst ist mein Freund" (My fear is my friend) was awarded #1 bestseller on Amazon in the category "Health for children " and #2 bestseller in the category "Me & the others ".
