Voice Over Piano & Friends

In the artist's words:

Voice Over Piano – Rock, Pop, Musicals & Chanson

Great voices, virtuoso piano playing, and entertainment with personality: Voice Over Piano combines musical diversity with a joy of performing, humor, and direct interaction with the audience.

Singer Sara Dähn, baritone Alexander Hohler, and composer, pianist, and entertainer Thomas Blaeschke bring well-known global hits, iconic musical numbers, rock classics, and soulful chansons to the stage. Original compositions round out the repertoire and give the ensemble its distinctive style.

Sometimes powerful and rousing, sometimes intimate and moving: the diverse voices and the expressive piano continually offer fresh perspectives on familiar songs. Thomas Blaeschke guides the audience through the program with stories, spontaneous ideas, and charming humor—in German, English, or French.

“Das Wunschkonzert” is a special concert format: The audience selects its favorite pieces from a diverse repertoire and actively shapes the evening. This creates a new musical mix full of surprises at every performance.

Voice Over Piano performs internationally and has given performances in more than 30 countries, including at the United Nations in New York, NATO, and the Federal Chancellery. Depending on the occasion, the ensemble performs as a small group, with a band, or with an orchestra.

Whether it’s a “Wunschkonzert,” a festive Christmas program, or a grand stage show, Voice Over Piano creates concert experiences that bring people together and leave a lasting impression.
