In the artist's words:

WEZN [ve z n] are Paul and Maischa. Two beings who met in Bremen between raves and rehearsal room sessions and discovered their shared passion for electronic music.

Two years later, the first songs were written and the first concerts followed shortly afterwards. Since then, the two have been finding their very own sound in the world between indietronica, folk and pop. By interweaving synthesizers with acoustic drums and emotionally catchy melodies, WEZN take you into mystical worlds of sound between minimalism and extremes and find their place between role models such as London Grammar, Aurora or RY X.

Their debut EP "Gonne Be Fine" was released in December 2021, followed by a successful summer of festivals and support tours for orbit and others. However, the uncertain times of the Corona years and the pressure that came with the rising expectations for the project left their mark and so Maischa had to take a six-month break at the beginning of 2022 due to a mental illness. This time resulted in a deeply personal album and the decision to continue sharing all of this with the world despite personal obstacles.

Working with producer Helge Preuß(Lewis Capaldi, Verboten Berlin, Joris), WEZN have captured their journey musically, with the first singles Meet Me In The Middle and Come Alive showing that the duo are more than ready to share their honest music with the world again - and this time more touching than ever before.
