In the first week of the autumn holidays, from Sat 11.10. to Sat 18.10., the Kulturzentrum Pelmke celebrates comics, graphic novels, films, games and role-playing games - together with the Hagen City Library and Kunst vor Ort. With a varied program, different formats for different age groups and at different locations. The special feature: All offers are free of charge for children and young people under the age of 18.

It starts with creative manga workshops for young people, where they can create their own characters. In the reading lounge you can relax and
discover and swap comics and graphic novels and talk to others. In the Babylon cinema we will be showing the anime classic Ame & Yuki and James Gunn's new Superman. Tobi Dahmen will read from his graphic novel "Columbusstraße". The city library invites you to pen-and-paper adventures, while the youngest visitors will get their money's worth at the Q-R-T children's comic reading in the Pelmke. For all gaming fans, there will be a gaming talk room to discuss consoles, favorite characters and current trends. Things get musical in the evening: Geek Beats transforms the pub into a mecca for gamer, series and film soundtracks - from 8-bit to sci-fi epics. If you like, you can bring your own console and play games in a convivial atmosphere. Finally, the big role-playing evening with a lecture, board games, pen-and-paper and collectible cards will entice you.
