100lbs of Summer. Open Air Festival Durchlüften 2026

On four weekends in summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival transforms the Schlüterhof of the Humboldt Forum into an open-air meeting place, without admission, where musical traditions from all over the world unfold and become living archives of culture in the encounter with the audience.

100 lbs of Summer is a reggae collective rooted in Berlin, interweaving sunny grooves with the city's ever-changing musical fabric - with the intention of existing only during the summer months before disappearing for the winter break. They are a fleeting phenomenon, a seasonal ritual based on the one-drop rhythm and held together by a deep respect for the genre that shaped them.

The collective is made up of musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds, each member bringing a distinct voice informed by the shared pulse of reggae that musically accompanied their childhood and youth. Although all are immersed in their own flourishing

artistic and musical careers - touring, producing, jamming and creating - they take time in the summer to come together under the name 100 lbs of Summer. This is a project for reggae lovers: a rare, passion-driven gathering that lives and breathes only in the heat of the summer months.
