180 Grad - Zeichen zur Wende

In the organizer's words:

Our planet - the earth. It generously gives mankind precious living space that is unparalleled in the entire universe. Virtually paradisiacal. But we are greedily robbing the earth, ruthlessly destroying its naturally beautiful diversity, high-handedly destroying the originally harmonious balance.
Now, however, the earth is showing mankind more and more limits, making life, even survival, more and more difficult for us. Still we flounder headless entangled in the net tangle of our own pitfalls. It is high time for determined and consistent action, fundamental and rigorous solutions. All is not yet finally lost, yes or no, back and forth - all this is no longer enough. The signs to the turn are abolut clearly radical: fast turn around full 180 degrees.
After long Corona forced break the Dortmunder dance theater Cordula Nolte announces itself now back. As in the 25 years of its existence, it imaginatively stages an explosively topical social issue on its own studio stage with familiar, creative power.
Variously choreographed dance images give the audience free space for their own interpretations and emotions.
With great audience response, "180 degrees" was already seen twice before the summer break .At the premiere on May 7 and then again on May 14, the independent ensemble's own studio stage was filled to capacity. There was enthusiastic applause and cheers for both performances. The environmental play also received recognition in the press. (see here below) Now it continues in the 2nd half of the season with three performances initially until the end of the year
