For the 30th anniversary of the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra

In their second anniversary concert, the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra will once again present some of their favorite composers from their 30-year history: Haydn and Beethoven.
Cellist Jan Vogler is an internationally sought-after virtuoso - his remarkable career has brought him together with renowned conductors and internationally renowned orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The New York Times admired the "lyrical flair" of his cello playing, Gramophone magazine praised his "dizzying virtuosity", and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung attested to his ability to "let his cello speak like a singing voice".
