The Cologne Theater Night takes place for the 23rd time in October. Due to the size and diversity of Cologne's independent theater scene, this is the second time that the one theater night has been transformed into a multi-day festival for young and old.

More than 50 independent Cologne theater groups, ensembles and theaters from the independent theater scene will present excerpts from the upcoming season's productions on several indoor and outdoor stages over two days and at two extraordinary festival locations.

No more running back and forth, the artists bring everything with them and you can walk comfortably from stage to stage with a drink and delicious food in just a few steps.

October 2 from 6 pm at the RheinEnergie cogeneration plant in Cologne's Südstadt district (Zugweg 29-31):

Performances every half hour between 6pm and 11pm

Festival party from 10 p.m. in the Alte Versteigerungshalle - just a 10-minute walk from the CHP plant

October 3 at the CCCC Creation Centre Contemporary Circus (Dillenburger Str. 63) on the grounds of the Osthof of Hallen Kalk:
