24. Kölner Theaternacht - das Festival der darstellenden Künste Köln

Cologne Theater Night is back for its 24th edition! On November 29, 2026, the Cologne Association for the Performing Arts invites everyone—young and old—to a special day of theater. Once again, the diversity and scope of the independent performing arts will be showcased and brought to life in a festival setting.

On various stages at the Depot Köln, Cologne-based independent groups, ensembles, and venues will present excerpts from their current and upcoming productions. The program ranges from theater and dance to performance art and other forms of the performing arts. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., the Family Day will focus on young audiences.

Starting at 6 p.m., the Theater Night continues: Until 11 p.m., you can enjoy 20-minute performances and gain insights into the diverse work of the independent scene.

You can stroll leisurely from stage to stage, enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in between, and experience the diversity of Cologne’s independent performing arts scene.
