Seven years ago, an old MAN rail bus from the 1950s set off on an adventurous journey from Berlin to the heart of Maxvorstadt. Today we know it as Minna Thiel - our little green oasis in the middle of the Kunstareal. Here, we not only relax, but also celebrate: with readings, workshops, live music and DJ sets, a table tennis table, games to borrow, a swap cell and, of course, refreshing drinks ranging from hot to ice cold. Recently, there's even a nostalgic photo booth waiting for you to capture your memories.
And now the time has come: seven years of colorful hustle and bustle in Maxvorstadt - that's something to celebrate! We have prepared a great program for you to mark this special occasion: You can look forward to live music from Carmina Reyes and Samuel Wimmer.
Carmina Reyes brings her compositions to the stages of the world with a gentle voice, guitar and harmonica. The lyrics and stories of the Munich native sound like the forest, the sea, freedom or melancholy. Carmina's music sounds like folk, indie, jazz and dreamy pop.
Samuel Wimmer's motto is "A good song always works with just voice and guitar". Since 2022, he has been pursuing his first solo project, in which he presents folk and country songs with his own twist. Whether solo or with a band - his warm, catchy melodies make us smile.
Come along, admission is free as always.
