Hypnosis is the process of deliberately achieving a hypnotic trance. Can music be a vehicle for this? Probably not, if we consult science. But it can, if Stefan Schwander has his way!

The tracks that Schwander releases under the pseudonym Harmonious Thelonious are deliberately hypnotic: "When this effect occurs, I have achieved one of my goals. Losing yourself in the music is a great state. "*

With A Rocket in Dub, one of Schwander's long-standing projects, things are now getting even more experimental, even more playful and even more hypnotic! The artist mixes chord progressions, basslines and basic rhythms wildly. The result: a kind of dub, a version of a track, rearranged each time; true to The Scientist's motto: "Every dub shall scrub!"

Schwander, aka A Rocket in Dub, presents his latest LP "Ltd." (Krachladen DUB) at the Schleuse Zwei music bar in the Bilker Bunker, demonstrating not only his hypnotic but also his musical abilities.
