A program of outstanding short and medium-length formats by filmmakers from the African continent and the African diaspora, exclusively compiled by festival director Alex Moussa Sawadogo, will be presented. The director of the film BORD À BORD, Sahar El Echi, will be present at the screening.
As a film curator, she was also a member of the selection committee of the Malmö Arab Film Festival (2022) and chaired the 1st Carthage Critics' Week of the Carthage Film Days JCC.

Mounirar, a woman in her thirties, lives off the income from her small fricassee store, which she inherited from her late father. The store is located in the heart of the Henchir Lehoudiya junkyard in a southern suburb of Tunis, a neighborhood largely dominated by men. In this harsh environment, she faces new challenges every day. Determined like thousands of Tunisian women who find themselves in difficult circumstances, Mounirar has an inner strength that not only enables her to overcome difficulties, but also to run her business in a hostile environment.

SAHAR EL ECHI, born in 1992, lives and works in Tunis. The visual artist, filmmaker and film scholar studied graphic design and communication at the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-arts de Tunis (ISBAT). She is the director of various short films (MUTATION (2016), ENTRE-DEUX (2018) and MANWELLA (2022)) as well as video art works that have been presented at national and international festivals.

As a film curator, she was also a member of the selection committee of the Malmö Arab Film Festival (2022) and chaired the 1st Carthage Critics' Week of the Carthage Film Days JCC.
