After-Work-Kunsttour. Skulpturen, Storys & Kurioses

Sculptures can be found all over the city—in squares, on building facades, or right along our commute to work. We often walk past them every day without knowing their stories. Yet they tell of times gone by, remarkable people, and the city’s transformation.

On this tour, we’ll take a closer look: sometimes surprising, sometimes curious, sometimes impressive. Together, we’ll rediscover art in public spaces and delve into the hidden stories behind the figures and objects.

Art historian Ruth Dangelmaier will guide us through the Old Town and the Martinsviertel. We’ll encounter works by 19th-century sculptors as well as exciting art from the postwar period and contemporary works by today’s artists.

Look forward to an inspiring evening out combining art, city history, and surprising discoveries.
