About the project and zine by Marvin Machler and about the band Agatha is Dead!
Agatha is Dead! encourages people to dance, feel, remember and forget. As a long-term photo project, I have been accompanying this great band on their journey since 2022 and documenting their performances, rehearsals and life story. With Lilly Bartholomew-Günther on vocals, Noah Oisin O'Donoghue on guitar, Arthur Melzow on bass and Joey Ramone Hansen on drums, four young Berliners come together, all of whom make their own life experiences and musical influences noticeable in a common sound. Influenced by big city life and the unstoppable changes in the world, Agatha is Dead! stands for a coming together of all those who understand music as an existence.
