There are only a few shows with a new program that Scheer | Dresen and Band are playing this year. The Waschhaus team is happy that one of them is taking place in Potsdam again, almost as a tradition.

The feature film "Gundermann" by Andreas Dresen became an arthouse hit in 2018, winning 6 LOLAs, the German Film Award. A band was formed especially for the film premiere, unaware that this would lead to a music project that would become a concert event with a rapidly growing audience throughout Germany.

Scheer, who has already fascinated audiences as Keith Richards in the feature film "Das wilde Leben" and has thrilled audiences as David Bowie at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and now at the Berliner Ensemble, immerses himself deeply in the cosmos and the songs of Gerhard Gundermann. He explores them, unfolds an almost magical intensity "with everything he has" and gives it back in concentrated form. Andreas Dresen, Jürgen Ehle (legendary Pankow guitarist) and the other musicians create an intense, liberating atmosphere that seeks and finds a dialog with the audience as well as their singing qualities.

The live album "Immer wieder Nie Genug" (2023) and the revised concert program for 2025 are proof that they never stand still, develop new material and happily expand their repertoire. Of course, you can also dance in the Waschhaus - if you can still find a seat. Because the motto is: TV off, shooting stars on!
