Andrew Collberg and G.rag / Zelig Implosion Deluxxe met while on tour with the American band Golden Boots, where they became great friends and later played together in the supergroup Boots Explosion. On October 29, they’ll celebrate the release of their own new albums with a double album release party at 674FM in Cologne!

Andrew Collberg:
New LP: “Hi Hopes” (Papercup Records)
Andrew Collberg is a Swedish-born, Tucson-raised, Cologne-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Active since 2006, he has released seven solo albums to date. His upcoming album, *Hi Hopes*, is set for release on September 18 of this year on Papercup Records. After leaving the desert in 2016, he now resides in Cologne and has gradually become an active part of the Cologne music scene, collaborating with local musicians 

“Hi Hopes” features a blend of neo-psychedelic synth-pop, soundscapes, electronica, and ballads, bringing together a range of sounds, moods, and styles characterized by straightforward lyrics with a healthy dash of irony and a global perspective. 

The multi-instrumentalist has worked, recorded, and toured with artists such as Howe Gelb (Giant Sand), Molly Burch, Golden Boots, Modern Nature, Nive Nielsen, Orkesta Mendoza, Star Parks, and Marek Johnson, among others.
