ANPFIFF! – Eröffnung der "Arena der Vielfalt" am Kulturforum

As part of Kulturprojekte Berlin's Football Culture Summer Berlin 2024, the St. Matthew's Foundation and the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation are presenting a multifaceted (soccer) program on three days, 19 June, 4 July and 7 July.

To kick things off, the "Arena" designed by Constructlab at the Kunstgewerbemuseum will be opened with two readings on the subject of soccer - followed by a soccer match:

5-6pm:
Actor Hansa Czypionka reads humorous texts all about the ball from the perspective of well-known Spanish authors such as Javier Marías and others - in cooperation with the Ibero-American Institute.

6-7 pm:
Welcome by Sibylle Hoiman, Director of the Kunstgewerbemuseum, Hannes Langbein, Director of the St. Matthäus Foundation, and Malte von Braun, Contructlab

The graphic artists and authors Markus Büsges and Fons Hickmann will read from the book "Das beste Spiel aller Zeiten" (The best game of all time), published together with Oliver Gehrs - a collection of the most exciting, curious and legendary moments in soccer history from kick-off to the penalty shoot-out.

7-8 pm:
Outdoor table football tournament at Café Estrade
