La Orquesta de Antes – Live Argentine Music at La Cantina
An evening dedicated to Argentine music, rhythm, and dance. La Orquesta de Antes brings together eleven musicians with a powerful live sound built around saxophones, brass, guitar, bass, percussion, and vocals.
Their music combines the energy of a large ensemble with influences from tango, jazz, and Argentine popular music —sometimes danceable, sometimes expressive, but always meant to be experienced live.
Before the concert, we’ll kick off the evening with a Chacarera workshop. Chacarera is a traditional Argentine folk dance performed in pairs, full of rhythm, playfulness, and communication. No prior experience is necessary.
Afterward, La Orquesta de Antes takes the stage, followed by more Argentine music to keep the evening going.
