Art in Fabric - Patchwork-Kunst ohne Nähen in Osnabrück
In the organizer's words:
Create your own artistic patchwork design—without any sewing! This workshop is inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of Kinusaiga, in which different fabrics are worked into pre-cut shapes using a special tool. The result is beautiful designs with remarkable depth and a unique textile look.
Whether floral designs, animals, landscapes, or modern motifs: step by step, you’ll create your own personal work of art tailored to your home. There’s plenty of room for your own color choices and creativity. The workshop invites you to unwind in a relaxed atmosphere, focus on your work, and take home something truly special.
Duration: approx. 2 hours
The workshop is open to anyone aged 15 and older who enjoys creative design—whether you’re a beginner or an advanced participant. No prior experience is required. All you need is a desire for a creative break and a love for working with fabrics and colors.
Note: This workshop involves working with knives and needles. Therefore, a certain level of fine motor skills and attention to detail when handling the materials is important. The workshop isnot suitable for anyone with limited ability to safely handle small, sharp tools, such as those with severely impaired vision or significantly reduced hand dexterity. We work in a calm, mindful environment where everyone can work at their own pace.
