After the great response to the premiere of ART LIGHT DISTRICT last year, the four-day pop-up exhibition will open its doors for the second time in the Gleishalle in Hamburg's Oberhafen from September 18 to 21, 2025

30 artists from all over Germany have registered for the upcoming exhibition (painting, photography, sculpture, graffiti). The positive feedback from the participants and the enthusiasm of the visitors motivate the founders to continue enriching Hamburg artistically.

A varied cultural program awaits visitors during the exhibition: on the evening of the vernissage, the exhibition will be opened with a rousing Odaiko drum performance and Capoeira dance. On two subsequent evenings, a DJ set by FOR US and a poetry slam presented by HoneyMic will ensure a lively experience. During the day on Saturday and Sunday, there will be talks with the podcasters from CHANGE POETRY. Together with guests and artists, they will explore the impact and inspirational power of the existing works.

The initiative arose from the two founders' own experiences as artists. ART LIGHT DISTRICT is a platform that offers talented creatives a fair and affordable opportunity to show their work in public. The aim is to increase the visibility of both young and established artists and to promote exchange in an inspiring atmosphere. The Gleishalle Oberhafen, a former freight depot, offers the perfect setting for this. "With ART LIGHT DISTRICT, we want to create a cultural highlight in Hamburg that makes art direct, versatile and lively," says co-founder Arian Sadeghi-Esfahlani.

Free admission to the exhibition from 12 - 6 pm. However, we would appreciate a small donation to sustainably finance the exhibition. Tickets for the evening programs starting at 6 pm will be sold by the respective organizers.
