What awaits you:

A stormy autumn day, as colorful and imaginative as it can be.

Paint a group of trees swaying in the wind, their tops reaching into an abstract, intertwined cloud cover.

This motif offers a wide range of exciting techniques and pictorial elements: You will learn to paint interesting light and shadow effects, work with complementary contrasts, create circular swirls of clouds, experiment with the dabbing technique and the glazed application of paint.

What you will learn:

Acrylic:

Acrylic paint is a real all-rounder! When applied thinly, it can be used to create watercolor effects; when applied thickly, it creates a high color intensity. It can be thinned with water, dries quickly, is odorless and waterproof when dry.

Wet-on-wet:

The wet-on-wet technique involves working quickly and directly on the paint that has just been applied and is still wet, or spreading it with another layer of paint. It can be used to create beautiful organic and soft color transitions.

Pastos:

Pastose paint application, also known as impasto technique, can usually be recognized by the relief-like application of the paint. It is a paint application that you can often not only see, but even feel. This technique involves applying the paint as thickly and opaquely as possible.

- High-quality canvas, stretched on a stretcher frame (30 cm x 40 cm, primed)

- 2 flat brushes

- 1 round brush

- 12 high-quality acrylic paints

- easel

- ArtNight apron

You will of course take your painted picture home with you, all other materials are for on-site use only.
