Hu Zhaoxiang's debut film tells the story of a train driver whose childhood memories are awakened by an earthquake. At a school reunion, he meets his childhood sweetheart and his father's camera reveals images from days gone by. Time flows like a river - old traumas return. The director's masterful visual language creates a poetically charged coming-of-age story.
