Attuned in the Bantutronic
Performance by Julianknxx
Julianknxx is looking forward to presenting“Attuned in the Bantutronic”at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt. This special performance delves into the world of Bantutronik, a genre created by Julianknxx, THABO, and a community of musicians and vocalists that also serves as a worldview. Together, they explore the beauty of Bantu culture while also developing and expressing it. Through live music, poetry, and conversations, the event unpacks the founding narratives of Africa and Bantu languages to engage them in a dialogue with contemporary sounds and voices.
Part of the program for“Not All Travelers Follow Paths—Humanity as Practice,” 36th São Paulo Biennial, Berlin Edition.
