Ausstellungseröffnung: Edition S Press

At 7:15 p.m., Anne Thurmann-Jajes, director of the Center for Artists’ Publications, will welcome the audience. Following that, curator Sabine Hänsgen will speak with publisher Wolfgang Mohrhenn about the exhibition. This will be followed by a performance of the composition *Über-Schneidungen*(Mattia Bonafini) featuring sound samples from the Edition S Press archive.

About the exhibition: 

From 1970 to 2005, Edition S Press published experimental literature, concrete poetry, Beat poetry, and poetry performances on audio tapes, audio and video cassettes, and in media packages. Over 80 editions demonstrate how poetry and sound art became forms of expression for resistance and artistic freedom, particularly during the Cold War.
