Backrooms: Everything Must Go (Extended Version)
In the organizer's words:
Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve star in Kane Parsons’ psychological horror film. Now playing at the Zukunft theater.
Bare, labyrinthine office hallways, endless beige-yellow walls, the incessant, unbearably loud hum of fluorescent lights: “Backrooms” depicts a new kind of nightmare—a deserted parallel world of repetitive, windowless floors that, at first glance, mirrors our reality yet slips further from it with every step. The labyrinthine rooms seem eerily abandoned, yet you are not alone there.
Extended Version:Following the global success of BACKROOMS, in which YouTuber Kane Parsons’s feature film debut grossed $400 million at the international box office, an extended version featuring 16 minutes of bonus footage is now playing in theaters.
A strange doorway appears in the basement of a furniture showroom. A film by Kane Parsons, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell.Extended Edition, featuring 16 minutes of bonus material.
