Kane Parsons, better known as Kane Pixels, is part of a new generation of horror directors who got their start on YouTube and are keeping the genre fresh in collaboration with A24. In BACKROOMS, a man played by Chiwetel Ejiofor gets lost in a seemingly endless labyrinth of rooms and hallways, from which only his psychotherapist can rescue him. A simple metaphor for the unconscious that provides ample material for claustrophobic and psychological moments of fear!
