In the organizer's words:
On June 13 and 14, Westermühlstrasse on the corner of Baumstrasse will once again be transformed into a small Bavarian festival mile. Wirtshaus Maximilian invites you to the popular "Bavarian Summer Festival" for the fourth time and offers a varied program for young and old on two days.
It starts at 12 noon on both days. There's plenty for the little ones to discover thanks to the bouncy castle, carousel and other attractions, while adult visitors can listen to the music while enjoying the best Augustiner beer from the wooden barrel and delicious Bavarian street food delicacies.
Saturday is all about exuberant summer fun. From 2 pm, the house DJ will provide the best entertainment with summery beats, before the Harlachinger Wiesnband 'Jokers' takes over from 6 pm and creates a Wiesn atmosphere in the middle of the Glockenbachviertel.
Sunday begins with the parish of St. Maximilian and the traditional Corpus Christi church service, which this year takes place open air on the festival grounds, followed by a morning pint with Bavarian music. In the spirit of Family Day, there will be a Punch and Judy show every hour from 12 noon to 6 pm. Another special highlight is a visit from the Augustinian horse-drawn carriage.
To round off the cozy Sunday and finally get in the mood for the 2026 World Cup, the first group match with German participation will be shown in the evening in the pub garden of Wirtshaus Maximilian.
