Sadness has a bad reputation. Yet there is so much more to it than just pain. It reminds us that we have loved, that we have missed someone, and that we are alive.

As the “Queen of Sad Hearts,” Marjanne takes you on a journey through melancholy, longing, and all the feelings we hide far too often. “Beautiful Sadness” doesn’t celebrate suffering—but rather the beauty that can sometimes be found right within it.
