Can the relationship between Clara and Robert Schumann be captured in color, line and form on the basis of individual piano works? How does the temporal dimension of the intangible but audible sound of the grand piano relate to the representation of the visible with a brush on canvas?
The pianist and great-great-great-granddaughter of the Schumanns, Heike-Angela Moser, and the painter Anja von Wins address these and other questions in their synaesthetic live performance.

The Schumanns' emotional relationship is also known to be the driving force, expression and legacy of their music. In their long-standing and wide-ranging engagement with Clara and Robert Schumann, the artists open up a new perspective on the invisible behind and between the notes: a synaesthetic process in which the audience can participate and watch how the encounter between music and painting creates an image that promises a very individual approach to the emotional world of the Schumanns.
