Begzada Alatović + Bureau Baubotanik Collective - "Tea Garden Gathering"

As part of theTea Garden activation, this workshop invites participants to get to know the plants in the installation through collaborative crafting and discussion. Together, we’ll explore the basics of herbalism, make herbal salt and herbal oil from selected herbs in the garden, and discuss how to use them in everyday life. You can then take your homemade creations home with you.

The workshop will be led byBegzada Alatović, who coordinates theRosenduftintercultural community garden in Berlin. In addition to her work in the garden, she is a language mediator and social worker at Südost Europa Kultur e. V. The garden grew out of encounters between Bosnian women with refugee backgrounds and their neighbors, and today it is a meeting place for people from more than twelve countries. Through communal gardening, workshops, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences, Begzada creates spaces for connection, mutual support, and shared learning—and demonstrates how gardening can foster community and make settling into a new environment easier.
