This Wednesday, August 5, we’re showing “Lola Runs” (in German with English subtitles).
Berlin, summer 1999: Lola has only 20 minutes to come up with 10,000 DM and save her boyfriend Manni’s life. On her breathless run through the streets of Berlin, she encounters unexpected obstacles and has to make split-second decisions. Each one changes the course of the story.
With its innovative narrative style, pulsating techno soundtrack, and the city’s unique energy, Tom Tykwer’s “Run Lola Run” has become a modern classic of German cinema.
