silent green presents

Black Decelerant, the duo of Khari Lucas aka Contour and Omari Jazz, explores spiritual jazz traditions through contemporary sounds and textures, intoning sonic meditations on themes of blackness and non-being, life and grief, expansion and limitation, and the individual and the community. Their self-titled debut album, and the core intention behind their collaboration, creates a space for listeners to find stillness and solace, while providing a foundation for movement beyond the "moment".

modalities is a new collective consisting of Alias Error and Oscar Atanga. The duo sets themselves apart from the dominant club scenes in their current hometown of Berlin, offering sound curation through hybrid DJ sets, live performance, music direction and bespoke composition with a focus on downtempo, ambient and experimental music.
After individually exploring the intersections between music, contemporary art, film and fashion in recent years, the two artists, who also share a close friendship, joined forces to focus on music and sound design.
