Harald Kirschner (born 1944 in Reichenberg, Liberec, Czech Republic) works in the tradition of social documentary photography, a genre that had a decisive influence on the history of photography in Leipzig, particularly in the late 1970s and 1980s. His work is characterized by black-and-white 35mm photographs in the style of street photography. However, the exhibition also showcases other facets of his work.
