Blues, jazz and rock on the zither? You can experience this at the concert of the Bochum Zither Orchestra on October 11, 2025 at 5 p.m. in the Christuskirche Bochum-Langendreer, Alte Bahnhofstraße 14. Under the title "Let it swing!", the orchestra under the direction of Christian Wilke and smaller ensembles play well-known works such as the hit song "Wochenend und Sonnenschein", "Rock around the clock" and "Music" by John Miles alongside blues and Charleston. But original jazz works also show that the zither is an instrument with many possibilities. Further information can be found on the website www.bochumer-zitherorchester.de.
