BOOM VOL. 1 LEIPZIG - NEWCOMER IM ILSES ERIKA

Sometimes a new band takes the stage—and suddenly it’s BOOM. We celebrate exactly this moment of discovery with BOOM, the newcomer series from KONSUMGUT[OST]. Following successful events in Chemnitz and Dresden, we’re teaming up with LE:NXT and URBAN Lab to bring three young local acts to the stage in one evening: fresh, unpolished, live—the sound of tomorrow, before it hits the mainstream.

Performing on October 8:
@luysmusic_ stands for queer dream rock: colorful, loud, and empowering. Powerful rock à la Muse or Green Day meets dreamy elements and lyrics about self-love, freedom, and desire.

@johannwinter.wav has been writing songs since November 2024 in the German singer-songwriter tradition, enriched with jazz and whatever inspires him at the moment—whether Neue Deutsche Welle, soul, or rock. “It feels like a head massage,” said a friend after his last concert—and that’s exactly what it’s meant to be: a space for quiet emotions, where you can be your true self and let go.

@mariesummt, a 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Hamburg who now calls Leipzig home, blends classical roots with modern German-language indie pop. Through vivid language and atmospheric soundscapes, she tells of fleeting moments and unspoken thoughts—sometimes tender, sometimes somber, but always close enough for you to recognize yourself in them.
