Borderscapes: Raum, Sound und Grenzen. Von der Berliner Mauer zu globalen Grenzräumen.
In the organizer's words:
"BORDERSCAPES – Space, Sound, and Borders: From the Berlin Wall to Global Border Regimes" follows the former border zone from Heinrich-Heine-Straße to the Oberbaum Bridge. Set against the backdrop of the Berlin Wall, techno, and club culture, this guided tour explores division, the fall of the Wall, and the new freedoms of the post-reunification era. Starting with the unifying power of music, the tour leads to current developments in club culture and global border regimes. How are isolation and new borders changing our world?
If there is high demand, the tour may take place multiple times on the weekends of October 3–4, 2026, as well as October 10 and 11, 2026.
