Brigitte Hobmeier became known to the people of Munich as a member of the Munich Volkstheater ensemble (from 2002-2005) and soon became an audience favorite in roles such as the proud Geierwally or the man-killer Lulu.
From 2005 until the summer of 2017, she was a member of the Münchner Kammerspiele, where she embodied sensitive, fragile female characters as well as tough female characters in more than a dozen major roles. From the 2019/20 season, she will make a guest appearance at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel.
"Die Hobmeier" became known far beyond Munich through her film roles, especially in the ZDF television film "Die Hebamme".
With her way of "revealing the most enticing abysses behind the fresh-faced girl's finish", she "turns the audience's head", as the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes.
The musical ingredients are provided by the nouWell cousines, ¾ of the Well family's soup pot. In a lively crossover of folk music, cheeky songs and classical pieces, the four thoroughbred musicians offer the audience everything they could hope for from a high-quality musical menu.
