Brous One (live)

Every last weekend of the month (always on Fridays, but this time on Saturdays), players from the beat maker scene organize concerts, beat sets or DJ evenings at King Georg.

This time, U.G.M.A.A. (a tribute to the label of the late L.A. jazz pianist and community man Horace Tapscott) presents beat maker Brous One.

Brous One is a music producer and DJ from Chile. His unique approach to music production has earned him worldwide recognition. His beats are characterized by clever sample selection, creative arrangements and a perfect balance between old-school vibes and modern sounds. Brous One has already collaborated with renowned artists and his music has been celebrated in various projects and releases worldwide. (e.g. a release on Redefinition Records with features from Damu the Fudgemunk, El Da Sensei and Blu).

Through his collaboration with the German-speaking rapper Retrogott and his label ENTBS, he has also been a welcome guest and friend of the local scene in Cologne for years.
