As part ofFeelAustria Week, you’re invited to a special literary event thisSaturdayat FluxBau on the banks of the Spree . Look forward to an enjoyable morning featuring Austrian literature, conversations, sparkling wine, and Buchteln.

The choice is yours:Attend one of the two readings or spend the entire morning at the Buchtelmatinee with thecombo ticket. Individual tickets are available for each event, as well as a combo ticket for the full program.

BUCHtelmatinée Marille: Reading & Discussion with Maja Iskra

Enjoy a chilled glass of sparkling wine and an authentic Austrian apricot Buchtel while you listen to authorMaja Iskrain conversation with moderatorLudwig Lohmann. The focus is on Iskra’s powerful and emotional debut, “Uppercut”—the coming-of-age story of a young woman who lives and loves in Vienna while recalling her childhood in Belgrade in the 1990s.

BUCHtelmatinée Zwetschge: Reading & Discussion with Shejla Baltić

Start: 12:00 p.m.
Duration: approx. 60 minutes
Included with the ticket: a glass of sparkling wine and a fresh Buchtel.

Over Zwetschgenbuchteln and sparkling wine, authorShejla Baltićwill present her debut novel*Von blauen Vögeln* (From Blue Birds), recently published by Leykam Verlag, and discuss, among other things, the role politics can play in love—and, conversely, the role love can play in politics.

Weather permitting, both events will take place on the FluxBau terrace right on the Spree.

The ticket price for each time slot includes admission, a glass of sparkling wine, and the corresponding Austrian Buchtel. With thecombo ticket, you can enjoy both readings, including apricot and plum Buchtels as well as sparkling wine.
