Bude. Bühne. Begegnung. Merklinde feiert Zukunft.
In the organizer's words:
A varied program featuring music, dance, and entertainment awaits visitors. The atmosphere will be enlivened by various street performers and a diverse stage program that brings plenty of energy, flair, and good cheer to the stage.
The inclusive dance group Rainbow Brothers & Sisters from the Evangelical Residential Community in Datteln will ensure that no one stays seated for long with their polonaise, well-known hits, and plenty of good vibes.
With the all-girl show choir Trallafitti & Band, familiar songs are given a fresh take: the singers put their very own spin on songs that absolutely everyone knows. And anyone from the Ruhr region can look forward to one or two anthems from their hometown.
Schlakks stands for German rap with a conscience, far removed from sexism, machismo, and materialistic posturing. Instead, the rapper takes a close look at the social and societal issues of our time and packages them into clever, pointed lyrics.
The grand finale is provided by the cover band Push Play from Castrop-Rauxel: Rousing live music, big hits, and plenty of energy from the stage ensure that the audience is guaranteed not to stand still. Singing along, dancing, and partying are definitely encouraged!
Free admission.
